Jenny McGhee is a seasoned sports executive dedicated to cultivating meaningful partnerships and executing strategic initiatives that empower people, drive positive change, and advance organizations.
McGhee’s professional career in the Dallas–Fort Worth Metroplex began in Junior “A” Hockey with the Texas Tornado. She quickly rose through the organization, ultimately serving as Vice President of Corporate Partnerships during her final two years before transitioning into collegiate athletics administration.
She spent 14 years with the Southland Conference as Senior Associate Commissioner, where she provided leadership and oversight of external operations, Olympic sport competition and championships, and governance of the Senior Woman Administrators and Student-Athlete Advisory Committees. During her tenure, McGhee was appointed to the NCAA Division I Women’s Volleyball Committee, serving a four-year term.
In 2022, McGhee joined the Big 12 Conference as Senior Director of Competition, overseeing Olympic sport competition and championships while serving as the primary sport administrator for baseball, volleyball, soccer, and gymnastics. During her 16 years in conference office administration, she also served as a member of the local organizing committees for the NCAA Men’s Final Four in Dallas and the NCAA Division I Football Championship in Frisco.
A native of Arlington, Texas, McGhee earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Stephen F. Austin State University, where she was a four-year letter winner on the Ladyjack volleyball team.
McGhee remains actively involved in community and national leadership initiatives. She currently serves on the USA Volleyball Board of Directors, the Big 12 Business Advisory Board, and the St. Andrew Methodist Church Executive Board.
She and her husband, Brian, reside in Plano, Texas, with their three sons: Mason, Preston, and Owen.
