North Texas is a wide and well-connected region, with major venues, stadiums, and universities located within easy driving distance. On average, most destinations are 25–35 miles apart, which typically means a 30–45 minute drive in normal traffic. However, during rush hour or on days with major events, travel times can stretch closer to 50–60 minutes.

Dallas → Fort Worth: 30 miles
– 35–45 minutes
– up to an hour with traffic

Dallas → Arlington (Dallas Stadium in Arlington): 20 miles
– 25–35 minutes
– up to 45 minutes with traffic

When planning travel around FIFA World Cup™ events or other large gatherings, we recommend allowing extra time for traffic and parking so you can fully enjoy the experience.

Dallas Stadium in Arlington does not prohibit tailgating for events. However, the FIFA World Cup 2026™ parking operations will differ from standard NFL game days, which will potentially affect parking near the venue. As a result, tailgating (eating and drinking around parked cars in stadium areas) will have a slightly different feel but additional fan information for all FIFA World Cup 2026™ matches will be communicated in advance of the tournament.

Rideshare and Taxi

Technology companies like Lyft and Uber, as well as taxis, will be directed to the Arlington Esports Stadium parking lot for drop-offs and pick-ups. It is approximately a 10-minute walk from the Lot to the Stadium. All Uber, Lyft, and Taxi drivers should enter on Ballpark Way using the address 1200 Ballpark Way, Arlington, TX 76011. Signage will direct them to pick up and drop off lanes. Taxis are especially needed post-game and
should contact
ridesharetaxiFWC26@nctcog.org for specific instructions or to request a copy of the Taxi Guide.

Fans using Uber, Lyft, or Taxis should follow signage to and from the stadium on AT&T Way and only use these services from the designated Rideshare and Taxi lot to help with traffic flow. Uber Shuttle will be located next to the Red Trolley.

The Rideshare and Taxi Lot will operate 5 hours before each match and up to 3 hours after a match.

All other black cars, limos, hotel & private shuttles, etc. coming in and out of the district will not be permitted in the rideshare lot.

They are directed to Chapman Cutoff Rd., located between Stadium Dr. and E. Randol Mill.

This will be a drop-off and pick-up area only. NO PARKING will be allowed in this area during the game or for extended periods, picking up guests AFTER the game.

For parking during the game, operators are encouraged to purchase parking nearby.

Arlington Red Trolley

Red Trolley service is available for guests staying in Arlington Entertainment district hotels only. A trolley pass needs to be picked up at the hotel front desk. The service is free for District hotel guests.

Route service will begin four hours prior to the starting time for each match. Following the matches, trolleys will depart, beginning 30 minutes after the end and continue service until complete.
