AT&T Stadium

AT&T Stadium has already proved its capabilities to not only stand up to the test for NFL but also in the soccer realm. The first sporting event at AT&T Stadium, which opened in 2009, was the Concacaf Gold Cup Quarterfinal match featuring Mexico versus Haiti in front of a sold out, standing room only, crowd of 82,000. Concacaf Gold Cup matches have been held in AT&T Stadium in 2009, 20011, 2013 and most recently in 2017. The sport of soccer made history in AT&T Stadium as the first sporting event to take place in the newest and most impressive stadiums in the United States.

The international soccer presence at AT&T Stadium didn’t stop there. AT&T Stadium also played host to world-famous clubs Chelsea, Barcelona and Club America in the 2009 and 2011 World Football Challenge and friendlies in 2012 between Mexico and Brazil, in 2014 with Mexico and Ecuador, and in 2015 between Mexico and Argentina.

Cotton Bowl Stadium

Cotton Bowl Stadium has been an iconic part of Dallas since its opening in 1932. This stadium best known for its football has been home to the SMU Mustangs, the Dallas Cowboys, the annual Red River Rivalry game between the University of Texas Longhorns and the University of Oklahoma Sooners since 1932, the State Fair Classic game between the Grambling State University Tigers and the Prairie View A&M University Panthers, and The Cotton Bowl since 1937. However, the 10th largest stadium in the United States does not focus solely on football. It has hosted the FIFA World Cup games in 1994, the Gold Cup Games, MLS soccer, and a number of concerts like Elvis Presley and The Rolling Stones. This legendary facility demonstrated its commitment to remaining a world class facility by going through a set of renovations in 2008 that replaced all the seating, added a new state of the art video board, an exterior facade, and a brand new surface.
